Contact us
One inbox, read by the people who build this site. There is no phone line, no ticket number, no form that drops your message into a queue. Ask about a price, a route or a typo and a person answers.
What people write to us about:
- A from-price that has drifted. The eight published prices here, running from $34 to $134, move with the date, the season and the option chosen, so a card can lag behind the live listing. If you spot one that no longer matches, send it over and it gets corrected.
- A tour that no longer matches its description. Itineraries get trimmed, an estate stop becomes a shop stop, an operator pulls a trip from sale entirely. If a Franschhoek wine tram page or a Stellenbosch half-day we covered has changed its inclusions or disappeared from the live booking page, tell us. Corrections go out fast, because someone reading a stale description is betting their only free day in the Winelands on it.
- Anything factually wrong on a page. Drink-driving limits in South Africa, drive times from the city to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl or Constantia, the 1685 grant at the Cape's oldest wine estate, and harvest timing across the Winelands: each is checked against a source, and any of them can change without notice.
- A wine tour we have missed. Run a bookable day out of Cape Town into Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl or Constantia, with a live listing and a price a reader can actually check? Send the link. We read every suggestion, take no fee for listing anything, and answer with a plain yes or no on whether it joins the nine tours already here.
- A question the FAQ or the guides never got round to.
What you get back
An honest answer rather than a fast one. Corrections come first: a wrong from-price, a meeting point mislabelled, a tram tour filed under the wrong region, all fixed once confirmed, usually within a day or two, because somebody is planning a single free afternoon around what this site says. Wider questions take longer, and where the answer would serve more readers it turns into a guide paragraph instead of a private reply. Nothing follows the email: no newsletter, no offers, and your address stays with us.
Where we cannot help
Bookings are the one thing this site cannot touch. No seat is held, no date moved, no cancellation handled, no refund chased. The nine tours described here belong to their own operators, and every reservation lives on the operator's live booking page, never with us.
Where we cannot help is with a booking already in your name. The operator who runs your day holds the reference, the pickup instructions and the staff who can actually fix things, so go to them first. A driver circling the block in the City Bowl, a tasting room in Constantia running behind, a full-day trip to Paarl that needs a different meeting point: those are live problems, and only the operator can move on them. We compare tours and write about them. We do not sit in the minivan or answer the estate's phone.
Two details worth checking on that confirmation before writing to anyone. Pickup first: some full-day trips include hotel or city-centre pickup and transport, the hop-on bus tour with its Groot Constantia tasting starts and ends at bus stops, and the private Cape Point and Constantia tour runs on its own transfer, so the meeting point printed on the voucher is the one that counts. Then the cancellation window, which every listing here carries as free cancellation. The live booking page settles both.
Torn between regions? The comparison of day types settles it faster than an email, and the guides cover the timing and the drink-driving question behind most of them.
